GoBreezie Towels Review

Did you know there is a towel out there that is versatile enough for the beach, pool, yoga, etc...?  And....you can easily take it with you?
The GoBreezie towel is a high quality microfiber that is durable to last for years.

Each towel comes with a matching pattern drawstring bag for travel and carry.  They fold or roll up for easy transport.  The color options are made to provide something for everyone.  From bright to neutral, you can make your own statement.

I carried my towels to the pool last week.  While getting organized, I hung the bags on the fence.  It was a convenient and fun way to display them.

After laying them out on the chairs, I was amazed at the softness of the fiber.
They are a thin material, but very comfortable to relax on.

They absorbed water quickly after drying off from swimming.
When I got home, I hung the towels up and was amazed at how fast they dried.
No soaking wet water-filled towels to deal with.

I can't wait to take these towels with me on our family trip to Mexico this summer.  They will pack easily and be the perfect travel accessory.

So, if you are looking for a great towel for water activities or travel....this is it!!

Special thanks to GoBreezie for providing me with products for this review.

The Best Gluten Free Chocolate Cake Mix - Jessica's Natural Foods

I've been making birthday cakes for my girls since they were born.  Each year is a new theme to go along with their age.  This year was a little trickier than usual.  You see, my oldest daughter has been gluten free since last summer.

Trying to find a good gluten free cake recipe or mix has been a struggle...UNTIL NOW!!

I found the most amazing cake mix and just had to share with you.  It is Jessica's Natural Foods chocolate cake mix.  My whole family was in denial that it was gluten free after tasting it.  It is a moist rich cake with no gritty after taste.  The smile on my daughter's face was priceless when she tried it.  We will be using this product for many events in the future.  Plus, I sliced the leftover cake and froze it individually for her to eat later.  Perfection!!  So, if you need a gluten free cake mix or treat, give this one a try.  You won't be disappointed.

I made her a video/movie themed cake because she has been interested in that field lately.  It was fun to create something she loved and something she could eat!

Munchies Mix

I love to cook, bake and craft with my kids.  They are always anxious and willing to help me with a new recipe or project.  Today they made this wonderful Munchies Mix from the TIME for Kids: Kids in the Kitchen Cookbook.  I was lucky enough to receive it in the mail to review for you.  The book is full of terrific and easy recipes for your kids to do on their own, or with some adult help.  It contains many different sections including breakfast, lunch, sides and snacks, dinner, and my favorite...dessert.

My girls had so much fun creating this mix.  We are planning to take it on a road trip later this week.  Something to look forward to!!
The recipe is very simple.  You may even have all of the ingredients in your pantry right now.  The only alteration that we made was adding mini marshmallows in place of the peanuts.  And the Parmesan crackers gave the whole mix a light salty spice that we love.
After seeing how much fun my girls had with this cookbook, I recommend you add it to your own collection.  Create some memories and fun food with your own kids!!

My friend, Carrie, over at Quite Carried Away also reviewed this cookbook.  Click HERE to see her post.

The Hoo Rag - a product review

Have you ever heard of the Hoo Rag?  I was lucky enough to receive one in the mail to review.  What a great product with so many versatile uses.  It is a seamless bandana that comes in a variety of colors and styles.  You can pick the one that best suits you.  My daughter loves the one that we got.  This is her favorite way to wear it....keeps her hair out of her face while cooking.  So fun!!

Here are the many other ways to wear the Hoo Rag.  So what are you waiting for?  Go order one (or more) for yourself!!!!

PONY TAIL RAG

If you want to keep your hair out of your face, and not look like a tiny Chewbacca, try Pony Tail Rag style.  Use your Hoo Rag to tie up your hair, and rest assured that you are rocking the sweetest possible pony tail accessory on the market, and do not resemble a Wookie.

FACE RAG

Perfect for desert journeys, ranching, and paintball, Face Rag style boasts extreme versatility and protection.  Cover your mouth and nose with your Hoo Rag to prevent dust, dirt, and non-toxic paint from getting into your lungs.

ALICE RAG

Who needs a beret when you can simply wear Alice Rag style with the design and style of your choice.  Wrap your favorite Hoo Rag around your hair to keep it up and out of your face, all while lending to your air of mystery and sensuality.

BALACLAVA RAG

For maximum protection from the sun, or maximum anonymity, Balaclava Rag style takes care of business.  Cover your entire face except for your eyes and achieve complete Hoo Rag ninja status, a new breed of ninja that wears sunglasses.

HEAD BAND RAG

Nothing says sweetness more than rocking Head Band Rag style with your favorite design.  Wrap the Hoo Rag around your forehead to keep hair and sweat out of your eyes, and make yourself look like John McEnroe.  Which is awesome.

NECK RAG

Sure to drive the boys crazy ladies, is the classy and sassy Neck Rag style.  Wrap your stylish Hoo Rag around your neck to draw some attention, and immediately transform into a cowgirl or Daphne from Scooby Doo.

PIRATE RAG

There’s a little bit of “Arrrr Matey” in all of us, which is why you rock Pirate Rag style.  Pillage and plunder in a friendly and responsible way by wrapping your Hoo Rag completely around the top of your head, and covering your skull.

THE NECK WARMER

Perfect for partying outside on cold nights, or when shredding on the slopes, The Neck Warmer style is the perfect way to look stylish while keeping your neck and throat warm.  No one likes having a frozen neck, we feel your pain.
