Lemon Honey Granola

My next contribution is this Lemon Honey Granola.  This is perfect for an after school snack or topping yogurt for breakfast.  Made with ingredients from Dixie Crystals, Taylor & Colledge, and Flahavan's you will take bite after bite wanting more.

Ingredients:

1 cup almonds, chopped
2 cups rolled oats (I used Flahavan's)
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/3 c. honey
1/3 c. packed brown sugar (I used Dixie Crystals) 
2 tsp. lemon extract (I used Taylor & Colledge's lemon extract paste) 

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.  
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking liner.
3. In a large bowl, mix together oats and almonds.  Set aside.
4. In a small saucepan, mix the oil, honey, brown sugar, and extract.  Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve sugar.
5. Remove from heat and pour over oats and almonds.  Mix until evenly coated.
6. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
7. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring half way through.
8. Let cool to room temperature, break into pieces, and store in an airtight container.

My next contribution are these Back to School Confetti Cookie Bars.  These are a perfect dessert for a school themed dessert!  Topped with alphabet sprinkles from Sweets & Treats, they are the perfect addition to make that first day special.  Send them in your kid's lunchbox, or save them for home. #SweetsSquad

Ingredients:
1 box of yellow or vanilla cake mix
2 eggs
1 stick melted butter
can of vanilla frosting
sprinkles (I used the Sweets & Treats Sweet Sprinkles Mix: Prime Time in the mix, and Quin Sprinkles: ABC 123 on the top of the bars)

Directions:

1. Mix cake mix, eggs, butter, and sprinkles together in a large bowl.
2. Spread into 9x13 pan, sprayed with cooking spray.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
4. When cooled, frost, top with sprinkles, and cut into bars.

Caramel Apple Dip

My first contribution is this delicious and easy Caramel Apple Dip.  This is perfect for an after school snack!  Topped with caramel sauce from Torani, it is delicious and easy.  Torani syrups are also great to add to coffee, smoothies, tea, and more.  Add your favorite flavor for a sweet treat! #Torani

Ingredients:
1 (8 oz.) block cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar
caramel sauce (I used Torani's caramel sauce)
mini chocolate chips
apples

Directions:

1. Mix together cream cheese and brown sugar with a mixer until sugar dissolves.
2. Spread onto a small serving tray or bowl.
3. Top with caramel sauce.
4. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
5. Serve with sliced apples.
