My Sister's Owl Themed Baby Shower




My youngest sister is expecting her first baby.  It's a girl!!  We can't wait to meet her.  In the anticipation, my sisters and I had a baby shower for her earlier this month.  The theme was lime green, pink, and lots of cute little owls.  Here are some wonderful pictures that my talented neighbor, Ashley Spaulding, took for me.  Check out her wonderful blog and pictures here.  The recipes and instructions for everything pictured will be posted throughout this week.  So, don't forget to "like" my Facebook page to keep up on each post.  I hope you enjoy!!
The invitation - "Look whooo's having a girl!!"

Front door diaper wreath - this was one of the gifts that my daughter and I made.  It doubled as decoration as guests arrived at the front door.

Lime green and pink balloons - every shower needs balloons!!

The mantel - Baby "Kaydence" banner made of paper plates and tulle, tissue paper flowers that my crafty daughter made.

The cupcakes - to go along with the theme colors I made green margarita cupcakes with lime buttercream frosting (alcohol-free of course) and pink vanilla bean cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting.  My daughter and I had fun making the cupcake picks too.

Table centerpiece - gift of baby wipes, shoes, stuffed giraffe, and green blanket that acted as decoration
