Today's #SummerGrilling recipe has been sponsored by Hamilton Beach, The Spice House, and BBQGuys, however, all opinions are my own. #ad #SPONSOR #SummerGrilling #HamiltonBeach #TheSpiceHouse #imabbqguy

This week, we're sharing the best grill recipes and celebrating the start of summer with an amazing giveaway, sponsored by BBQGuys, Farmer's Pantry, Joy Jolt, The Spice House, and Torani. Learn more about our sponsors HERE

My next contribution are these delicious Shrimp and Sausage Kabobs.  They are the perfect meal for your summer events.  Using the Hamilton Beach Searing Grill, you can even cook them indoors.  Great when you can't get outside due to heat or rain.  I even took it to work last week and cooked hotdogs for a luncheon.  So convenient!!  Seasoning from The Spice House give them the perfect flavor.  Like I did, if you want to monitor your grill for temperature, the iGrill Mini Grilling Thermometer from BBQGuys works great.  It is the perfect grilling accessory.  More details below!

Ingredients:
raw shrimp
1 pkg. Polska Kielbasa sausage (or sausage links of your choice), sliced into 1/2 inch rounds
1 red pepper, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
1 orange pepper, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
1 onion, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
wooden BBQ skewers
olive oil
seasoning (I used Back of the Yard spice from The Spice House, truly my new favorite spice mix!)

Directions:
  1. Soak skewers in water for 10 minutes.  This will keep them from burning.
  2. Prepare kabobs by putting sausage in the middle of the shrimp and adding to skewer.
  3. Add onion and peppers.
  4. Alternate shrimp/sausage and veggies until kabob is full.
  5. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning.
  6. Heat searing grill to 375 degrees.
  7. Cook on each side for approximately 10 minutes, or until the shrimp is no longer opaque and has become white in color.

**  One of my favorite new grilling tools is the iGrill Mini Grilling Thermometer from BBQGuys.  You can use it to monitor your meat while grilling or for heating the grill.  I used it to keep track of my searing grills temperature while I was preparing the kabobs.  It links to an app on your phone.  I was able to take my phone with me to another location in my kitchen and see the current temperature of the grill.  It kept me from running over to the grill periodically to see if it was ready.  Love it!!
