This is a warm and comforting breakfast (or dinner…my family loves breakfast for dinner) that my mom used to make for me growing up. Of course my husband thought I was crazy when we got together and I made this….until he tried it. It is a simple and cheap dish that will warm you up on a cold winter day.
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
1 boil-in-bag
rice bag
½ c. raisins
Clip of some
sort (I use a paperclip or chip clip)
Milk
Sugar
Directions:
- Cut open the top of one bag of rice, add raisins, and stir to mix. Secure closed with clip. Boil bag as directions state on box.
- Drain water off of rice, pour into a bowl. Add milk and sugar to your liking. Enjoy!!
