To greet guests at the door, I used a suitcase and covered the back with maps from an atlas. The banner was made from burlap paper and letters cut using my
Silhouette machine.
Inflatable globes were hung from the ceiling across the room.
Travel posters from around the world made the guest of honor look forward to new beginnings.

We also pinned the globe cutouts onto the front of the table.
Blue napkins were place in a fun little suitcase along with utensils.
Passports were laid out on the cake table as extra decor.
