Getting tired of the same 'ol breakfast food? Kids want something different? Give these Yogurt Banana Splits a try. We came across this idea last year at our local grocery store. They were serving something similar to these to give parents another option for a school day breakfast. My girls love fruit and yogurt. So, letting them put together a healthier banana split sounded like a great idea. Since then, we have made these a standard breakfast option. We like bananas, yogurt, strawberries, granola, and I allow a few chocolate chips to sweeten the deal. Try them out!! Your kids (and yourself) will love you for it!!
Ingredients:
Yogurt of your choice (we use vanilla)
Bananas
Strawberries
Granola
Chocolate chips
Directions:
- Split the banana down the middle and lay in the bowl.
- Top with yogurt.
- Add other toppings of your choice.
Please stop on over to say hi!!
Thanks ~ Nichi
